Default Questioan about Filmstrip/Coverview

Hello everybody,

what I am trying to find is a solution to set up the filmstrip/coverview to keep the focused cover in the middle of the screen. Default is that MP advances to the next cover (scrolling all covers on the display to the left) as soon as it arrives on the right end of the displayed covers. So my wish/goal would be that MP does this as soon as the third(middle) cover is reached.
It is quite hard to explain this exactly with my limited english... I hope sombody understands

Regards
Wolfgang

I think i know what you mean: to keep the selected album in the middle. You dont want to move the "Selection Cursor", but the album-strip, right?

Im having exactly the same problem. I dont know how to solve this. But if im figuring out, i will tell you...

Exactly!

I can't imagine that none of the skinners ever had that idea! Maybe it is more complicated than we users think...

You can't do that with the current MP code, as far as I know - a lot of people have been asking for that particular feature for a long time...

I was hoping for this change since the first album-strip was introduced in MP. Not just for movies but also for music and photos. If anyone figures out how to do this with current version, I think he'll make many people happy

As the scroll function is hardcoded in MP you´ll have to wait for a gentle dev to change it. We designers soleley may use the respective parameters to suit our skins. MP2 does exactly what you want - so let´s be patient....
