Replace .png ?

Is it possible to replace *.png with *.swf and make it work?

For instance this:

Code:

<textureFocus>\animations\radio\radio0013.png</textureFocus>
       <textureNoFocus>\animations\radio\radio0030.png</textureNoFocus>

into this:

Code:

<textureFocus>\animations\radio\radio0013.swf</textureFocus>
      <textureNoFocus>\animations\radio\radio0030.swf</textureNoFocus>

(^^^BasicHome.xml)

pretty sure it isn't sorry. I think even jpgs don't work.
The main reason that swf's don't work is because the files are all cached into a larger combined png for speed of use.

So every animantion starts with 1 overall png file and loads the next say 30 png files on top of the overall file?

I think so, but I only "dabble" in skinning. Hopefully someone else can give a more definate answer.
(but I am pretty certain ;-) )

jpg, bmp and gif should work
swf wont work, cause its vector based.

you can also place png animations in a seperate xml file (like button_focus_animation.xml) and then take that xml file as image... as result it will play the png-animation when the button is in focus (also works for listbuttons etc)

This info, with a excample need to be in the wiki manual, i think.
