Default WAF +10 points with these changes

Yes, she was impressed!

A couple of aethestic things she's pointed out:
  • The hover images for TV & weather aren't in keeping with the rest of the skin, apparently it's the blue in these images which doesn't sit right with the minky brown shade of the background. apparently blue & brown don't go together??
  • The OSD brown is too close to baby poo for her liking

Other than that a BIG

grassynoel, great work on the skins... I just have 1 problem with them so far... they don't support the new TV server I am sure I can copy over the xml's but it would be nice if they were in the package..

Also the issue below.. looks kind of funny with the huge image behind the video

Ak! I thoght it was more complete than this.

Okay, to all of you, most of these errors are oversights. It's a lot of copying snippets from one version to another and inevitably some things get missed. Thanks very much for the response. i will get onto correcting all of it (except the poo colour, sorry Mrs. Cheezy).

Default Updates...

Simplify wide SVN update....

All right, (deep breath)...

Fonts.xml updated so the correct fonts are shown.
The hover image width is fixed for both home page and Plugins screen.
The white stripe is the same width on both pages.
The weather Icon is less blue (Haven't been able to find a TV replacement).
OSD still baby poo colour .
Hover images removed from TV, music pages et al.
"Back, video-wallpaper, close" button navigation fixed.
Colours consistent on type (no blue- I think).
Tetris BG adjusted.

There.. Now see if there is anything else. I will propagate any of this needed to the 4:3 version tonight.

Cheers

Eh.... did you look at the (missing) album view? I use this view-type alot.

It works with all the MePo's (I've tried them all )

Nice one Glenn

The white stripe is a little narrow for a couple of the plugin names, I've changed it to
HTML Code:
 <posX>710</posX>
      <width>364</width>
in myHome.xml & myHomePlugins.xml to widen it a bit.

How about this for a TV image? The site states "There are no usage restrictions for this photo."

Also, does anyone know what XML controls the news article dialog page? The one that pops up when you select a news article to read? It's a bit on the small side for a widescreen skin.

BTW . . . The simplify widescreen SVN skin appears in the CODECS section of Homepage downloads section??

Photo in. Give it a few hours to copy to my webspace.

I couldn't track your error Okay. It seems to work fine here. I will try it on my plasma and see there. I don't have much on this computer in the way of music.

Glenn just tried simplify yesterday and it is really simple but very elegant.

One little thing I noticed is the progressbar. This seems t be a relict of the B2.
Seen it on music - now playing screen. It is still in green. Maybe consider to change it to something purplish (like the cursor highlight in the lists).

You're right. These little buggers get away from me. I'm so busy playing with the big picture that the little details slip by. I will work through the graphics and rip out any blue (even though I don't know what all the graphics are for )
I will repost on the main page and update the submitted date.
