Default Skin defects, and suggestion re quality.

Trying a few skins out, like xface/purevisionHD, and others, I found a one massive mistake by the makers, JPEG compressed
fancy backgrounds, which look like crud on a big LCD screen since all the artifacts are visible.

Please, if any background graduation image is used, DO NOT compress the hell out of it, either JPEG at 98%, thats flawless (use PS). Or just stick to PNG, since it will look perfect, and have zero artifacts.

If you are that short on disk space, maybe try jpeg2000 perhaps, and in your code, cache a local BMP version to speed up access perhaps.

Just a little tip, remember quality is #1, dont skimp and be cheap or sub standard.

Yeh, I love xFace, but that artifacting on the BG gradation bugs me quite a bit if I come in close.
