tetris - why does it break mediaportal?

removing mytetris.xml and the /media/Tetris/ folder from a skin folder breaks mediaportal - mediaportal crashes on startup.

mediaportal config shows a tetris plugin, which is disabled.

i can't find any tetris.dll or anything like that in mediaportal's app directory.

why is the lack of tetris breaking mediaportal?

could-be that MediaPortal is just a front end to Tetris, which is really the main app ...

otherwise.... I'm clueless (in more ways than you can count)

Could help, but still every skin that is written for MP should support the basic plugins that are coming with the standard installation (that is one requirement for the skin to be added to the repository).

tetris is certainly disabled in the MP config.
but tetris is one of the "default" plugins.
if i want to play tetris, i'll use my nes/snes emulator.

anyway, this started with me trying to remove leftover. from "project mayhem III" to make the pm3sexy download smaller.
if anyone figures out why the lack of tetris prevents mediaportal from starting, please let me know.

you can not remove default plugins xml´s from skins for mediaportal.
All default Pluginstuff must be inside a skin to work proper for MP.
So all Pluginstuff what is inside original default skin Blue3, you can not delete in the skins.
But you can change the gfx to empty ones with same names. 1 pixel * 1 pixel size.
