tv or wmp visualization as a background

This is not a new feature request but it could be a new idea for a new skin
I don't know if this possible with the currernt TV and graphic engines.
but in my opinion such a feature should be considerd in the future.

I don't know if i am misunderstanding you, but if i understand you right this is already supported. You can definetly use movies and tv as background.
All you have to do is select vmr9 as renderer.
Then navigate to the main menu and in the mce skin press the middle button in the top right corner of media portal (between the buttons to shutdown the computer and shutdown mediaportal).

Thanx for quick respoense I know you can set the movies as backgournd
using VMR9 rendrening but I didn't know you can do a desktop tv because
I cannot get my DVB card to work with VMR9 yet.
execuse my ignorance about this feature I'm just a newbie.

just another rain in the afternoon.

is there a way to switch to the main menu in "TV-as-background"-mode while watching TV in fullscreenmode!??
now i always have to press the EXIT button on my remote, switch to the main menu and then hit the middle button to get the TV onto the background! :?:
