So far so good but really a manual thing. Now I know why it takes so long and so much efforts!!!

theres also http://nolanparty.com/mediaportal.so...highlight=skin which is Media Portal Editor, its still beta so it doesnt edit but it does give quick previews so you can load the skin the modify in notepad or whatever, then double click and it will preview it for you, I know its not quite what your lookiung for but it should help rather then trying to reload MP all the time, hes also working on a full editor as well which there are just screenshot but it will be like what you are loking for where you just drag and drop (kinda like Visual Studio forms development if you ever written dsoftware), looks very nice from the screenshots

I saw this already but no beta or other to give it a go.. It does look the business though!! Just hope Hamheed can finish it soon

Looks like this is exactly what I (and probably all MP users) would kill for!!

I think I will first do as suggested: put something together on Photoshop as a template. That should take enough time and by them the MPE may be available
