|  Are XBOX Media Center Skins compatible with MediaPortal? Has MediaPortal had too much development since branching from XBMC to be compatible with their skins? XMBC has some damn fine skins that i wouldnt mind in MP but lack the know how/patience to convert them Cheers |

| Retired Team Member | We have many different new things in MP making skins not compatible. And as xbmc also made new things I don't know about it's impossible to make a list for you. Well it is possible but I won't do it. Siimply take a skin as base and use the graphics from XBMC. Then start editting the skin's xml files to make it look ok.

Country:   | XBMC skins have their textures in a proprietry compressed format. So unfortunately you cannot just grab a XBMC skin and tweak it. I wanted to make a Project Mayhem skin for MP but ran into this problem... unless someone knows how to uncompress the textures file... DMAN.
