skin xml/tag related questions

hi there.

i use the butcher169 skin, disabled all plugins except (my) videos.
in config i set to start in last used module (and remeber last used folder)

now i want to change some simple things in the "layout: icons" view.
i dont know xml, but i have looked in some files and found some information i searched, but only a little. :-(

maybe someone can give me a little help, where to find the xml/tags to modify to:

- remove the text under the icons.
- change the size of the icons (in icon view, they are a little too small, in bigicon view, way too big for me)
- autohide the buttons on the left

there are sure more q to come, later

it took a little bit, but i found the answers for most of my q.
