Like you have 2 GB of RAM, but in my system MP "only" take 400-500MB of ram while useing SS1080, but still this might be to much.
I have looked even closer to you log files in privous post and noticed that the "out of memory" occurs when the fonts.xml is loaded.
Can you please test to replace the fonts.xml in the spinsafe 1080 folder with a fonts.xml from a skin you can load.
And dont forget to delete the cache files ( see FAQ first post ) before you start MP again.
Let me know if that fixed it.

I have 2 GB of RAM total.
Vista, MP (xface skin), powerdvd etc. uses around 1 GB of RAM, and max 25 % CPU during Blu-ray.
Same set-up but instead using the SpinSafe1080 skin: It uses 100 % RAM and minimum 40 % CPU (only in MP doing nothing, -no playback).

I'm not able to try to swich the fonts.xml and check if its works as you propose, because I'm now able to start your skin, but MyFilms does not work. See my previous post for info, logfiles and screenshot.

I missunderstud you sorry.
I have now looked in the logfiles where you CAN load the skin. And from what i can tell its not a skin problem that you can not start the iso file. I looks like its a codec problem or something.

Thanks for the help.

My problem is not to start the iso file, that works very good. I cannot open/start the MyFilms plugin (and see the movies) when using SpinSafe 1080. Are you sure it has nothing to do with the skin? MyFilms works 100 % with the Xface skin (I only have the Xface and SpinSafe skins installed).

The Myfilms issue IS a skin problem. Thats becorce there is no suport for that screen yet.

Mirk, thanks in advance tot take this problem on and trying to solve it. I am currently away on busines for a month so not able to assist. I did post my errorlog earlier. I tried to solve it myself but my skills came up short
i am also running 2 gb 800mh on vista home premium (vmc disabled) with q6600 and gts 8800.

i can't go back home from my movie or mytvseries (have disabled picture, music, etc) if i already seen a video in that mediaportal "session"
what i mean is:

i can't go back home if:
start mediaportal
go to my movies o mytv series
play a movie (any audio/video codec)
finish movie or stop it
press esc to go to the home screen = stucks at movie/tv series list. if i press esc i mean that nothig happens but can hear the 'button press' sound..maybe it's skin related

I'm having the exact same problem. Hope it's a easy solution to the problem because it's a bit frustrating
