your last file works also for me. The fonts seems tome a little big but i'm wait for your new versions.

I will take to espose also another problem, not about the skin, but I think that this thread is read by many users who use 1080p 24 Hz (in the case we can open another thread).
At this resolution all HD files works great and smooth (obviously) but all SD files and DVD are terrific: DVD with choppy video and tv series files plays with out of sync audio of about 1 second. I try different setting without any success. All come back to normality if I change 24Hz to 25i or 30i. Have anyone experiences about that??

Thanks for the latest version, it fixed the problem of not being able to move back out of the my tv series screen.
I have to say the new MyTVSeries screen looks awesome!

Thanks again Mirk as it fixed the bug about backing out of menus and being able to switch from the video menu to the mytvseries menu.

Hi! Thank a lot for this nice skin.

There are some bugs / issues I got with this skin:
- My Radio: the stations list is empty (0 objects of 5 is present in list)
- My weather: 5 day forecast looks terrible
- My uTorrent, MySkype, My News and other plugins look terrible. Are there any solutions to fix it?

Tanks for reporting.
The radio bug was i not aware of but the other screens i have not looked over yet.
Hopefully more plugins will be supported soon.

Very nice skin. My new favourite. Still looks nice on a non full HD tv. I have one question. It is possible to omit the extra details (file type, actor,ratings) in my-tv series display and move up the episode summary text? So that it doesn't need to scroll anymore?

Sure, just open the TVSeries.xml in a text editor. And remove the controls you don't need and change the values for height and so on to you're liking.
If you do the changes when MP is running, you need to restart MP to see the changes.

Hallo

As many of you may already know, Inker working on a new version of the TVSeries plugin, capable of download and choose fanart directly from the user interface in MP!!
It is still in beta, but if you want to check it out for your self i have adapted the new TVSeries.Fanart.xml that is needed, for this skin.
Any thoughts of improvements, i am open for suggestions.

How to install

• Download one of the latest SVN version of the TVseries plugin. ( i use rev.324 because i had some problems starting the latest rev.)
• Download the rar file from this post (look below).
• Unzip and drop the "SpinSafe 1080" folder to your skin directory.

But before i release it , I´am curious on that you guys think about what pro and cons this skin has.
What made you choose this skin or why did you not choose this skin?
If you compare it with other MP skins, what does skin lack ?

Any feedback is much appreciated. Hopefully it can be used to make it even better in the future.

My personal toughs

Pros:

• Its 1920x1080
• Clean interface without to much unnecessary GFX/ information.
• Nice design
• TVseries screen

Cons

• TV-part need work.
• Many plug ins have no support.

Hey mirk,

Moved over from Monochrome to Spinsafe1080 since v0.4 was released, reasons being:

- Makes full use of 1080p display.
- Basic home screen looks awesome and has everything I need on there.
- v0.4 myTVSeries design is the best in MediaPortal now.
- Much nicer font compared to Monochrome etc.

Few things I've noticed that would be great if you could look at though for the next version:

- In Videos, the filmstrip layout (for 'Shares' view) has the wrong image size/ratio for movie covers:

- Episode thumbnails appear to be broken in myTVSeries:

- Can the 'Now Playing' screen utilize the screen more fully, as the left half of the screen is un-used and the text is a bit cramped there.

(Something like this http://img444.imageshack.us/img444/144/ratingsii9.jpg with the focus on the coverart in the middle there is quite nice.)

- In Music, is it possible to remove the text from Icons/Big Icons layout (for 'Shares' view again) as it looks a lot nicer without the text labels underneath each coverart and the albums less spread apart.

(Would be great to fit 3 row of 7 albums, compared to current 2 rows of 6 albums.)
