albumart image quality

MediaPortal Version: 0.2.2.0
MediaPortal Skin: default wide
Windows Version: xp sp2

Hi guys. I am using the 0.2.2.0 version and having some issues with the album art. I have all my mp3's sorted as artist/album/*.mp3. There is a folder.jpg in each folder and also each mp3 has embedded album art.

The problem I am facing is that the album art under media portal - big icons shows poor quality. It is as though the small icons are being stretched to fit the big size.

In .../MediaPortal/Thumbs/Music/ I checked all folders here. Each holder has 2 files, For example, in Albums there is album.jpd and albumL.jpg. One being a low quality image and another high quality.

Can anyone help me fix this somehow.

I have the same problem, it only seems to happen if I use the Bass engine. The only way I found round the problem is to disable Visulizations in the now playing screen. You can still view the viz on full screen, but just not in the little window where the album art goes. No sure if this is a feature or not...
