How to Default "My Music" to "Artist" View?

I want to start by saying how much I appreciate the developers and helpful forum members in making this program what it is. It is by-far the best media-center program available. ...everything except this one little problem.

I read through the user guides and wiki, and did not find anything that helped me.

I accidentally deleted the "Artist" view... I added it back, but now it continually defaults to "shares". I can change view to Artist, and it looks exactly how I'd like, but I have to do this every time. How can I make "Artist" view the default, when I enter "My Music"?

I have a similar problem: In MP setup I have configured My Music to to "Album view" and to show "Icons" as default, but every time I enter My Music it shows the my albums as "Big icons view" (only 4 per screen) and not as "Icons" (18 albums per screen). What am I doing wrong?

Found the solution in MP setup, I was fiddling with the wrong settings in My Music.

open up "mediaportal.xml" in a text editor of your choice.
search for "startview" (without the quotes).
you may ind one string in the sectio of myprograms. ignore this we need the one from the section music.
yours will most probably look like this:

<entry name="startview">134</entry>

change it to be like this:

<entry name="startview">133</entry>
