Play CD / Eject Buttons

May sound funny ... but my question is how to use the Play CD (CD-Wiedergabe) and Eject (Auswerfen) buttons in My Music.

I tried many things, but if I click on them... just noting happens. So... what are they used for??

Windows Version: Win XP

My problem is related to both the Bass and internal player

Cd already inserted in drive prior to MP loading

go to Music

scroll and click on Play CD

takes 1 minute 50 seconds before i hear any music (wondering if above postee gave up waiting).
Can untick every option and even change to internal Player, and delay gets more by a extra 5 seconds.

is it me.

hmm, i don't see anything bad in the log, except the delay that you described above.
Are you controlling the CD-Speed (General -> CD/DVD speed)?
If so, try to turn it off.
otherwise something else might block the CD.
i don't see anything that MP might do here.

Now i know it's just me, will see what i can find.

speed control is activated, but should not cause that much delay surely, must admit though this is the first CD bought for myself in ages, so have not even noticed when the start of my delay problems occured.
