Search for music

Hi.

I have a question about the search function for music.
Let's say I have a music file called "02 - Michael Jackson - Billie Jean".
If I search for "billie", I get no results.
If I search for "02 - Michael", then I'll find the song.
Is it possible to make the search find all the songs that contains the searchstring "billie", not just files that begin with the word "billie"?

I would second such a request. I really like the iTunes way of searching, reducing the resultset "online" even for large libraries. We would probably need some full-text index for that, though.

do i understand you corrcectly that you are in the "Song" view?
Because this is the only view, where you would see the above information.

if i use Search and enter the word "the", i get for example:
The Who - Pinball Wizard
Pink Floyd - Another brick in the Wall

so it searches the complete list that is displayed.

if you are in "Artist" view, the search works for any part of the artist name.

Well, now that I got the button to not be greyed out. . .I have never switched out of the Shares view in the two years I have been using MP. I like that view. . .so I switched to the Artist View and now I can search. . .but what I was really wanting to do was to keep the displayed view and be able to search for the word in the title of the songs. Switching to song view takes a long time with thousands of songs. . .is there such a way?

Btw, it finds matches in the middle of items for me.
