Default editing movie info

Hi all,

I can not seem to find an elegant way to edit the metadata of video files. (cover, title, summary, ...)
Most other htpc programs allow me to do something like this:
1) select video file from within the program itself
2) look up this file in eg IMDB, and/or
3) edit the metadata manually.

In MP I only managed to find this:
1) close mp
2) start the setup program
3) use the (not very user-friendly) setup program / database editor

Ideally I would be able to look up info for a file on the internet, get asked if a found match is correct and if not, be able to do it manually.

Is this possible?

Currently, this is only possible using the configuration application.

Hi...

I have the same problem as trott. Most of my movies has the wrong text or cover, is there anyway to change e.g. the cover manually? For example; by modifying the database file in another program (e.g. Ant Movie Catalog)?

Unfortunatly the internal tools for the movie DB isnt the best right now, lets all start thinking what we would like to se for improvements (I mostly miss a better lookup on imdb). Hovever you can use some external movie manager (like ANT) and parse the info to MP with the plugin MyFilms.
