I have two displays, one is 768*540@50 Hz (interlaced), the other one 960*540@50 Hz (progressive). Both displays have vsync enabled, and I watch only PAL material. Display adapter is ATI HD2400 based. Picture on the first display seems to be pretty ok. However, if I use second display, there is always tearing when the screen is panning. I have tried several MPEG2 decoders. I have tried EVR and VMR9. I have tried reclock. Nothing has helped. Any ideas what to try next appreciated! (Note that I have turned tiling off using Powerstrip as first display is interlaced PAL, I've no idea if that could affect second display as well. If I try to turn tiling on, Powerstrip just claims that it's already on.) Last edited by putkonen; 2008-04-02 at 22:51. |

| At least Nvidia is recomending in it's drivers release notes that dual displays aren't optimal for media playback. (i.e dual or clone modes aren't recomended for MCE).
