How to disable IMDB search

I am creating a music videos database. I cannot not make the MP scan Hard Disk without retrieving movies info from IMDB, as you can see I do not need any movie info, and every time it scans it does't recognize any of the videos (obviously, because they are music videos, not movies). I found that I can add a new tittle to the database manually, one at a time, but this is not much effective.

Is there some way I can make a folder scan of my HD without retieving IMDB info?

It would be great if the scan recognizes music videos info, just like it does with music!!! But I will be satisfied with a simple scan of the name of the files.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem, except it is with tv shows I recorded in a different program. I don't know how to import them into the tv system as a recorded show and tv episodes don't show up properly in the imdb search (though they have an imdb number).

Ah. I just discovered the TV series plugin. Life is glorious. Not being able to import without IMDB is still annoying.
