As the title says plot\summary scrape are showing as unknown on a lot of my films (imdb changed something).

Films that do not get info are

4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Con Air
Death at a Funeral
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life

etc, the list goes on, about a third of my 200 movies now have no summary, this also seems to apply to the Ant Movie Catalogue, so it looks like something has changed regarding the way the files are being scrapped from imdb.com

There is a new IMDB script for Ant Movie Catalog, been using it today and works fine.

Done, that solves the ANT problem, now for mediaportal.

I modified the imdb script pls. test it. I add to svn and modify the build in script in this weekend if all thinks are working.

doesn't pick up MPAA rating for 2001: A Space Odyssey ... picked up the plot, though.

didn't get tagline for 30 days of night, got the plot and mpaa rating and the rest.

didn't get mpaa rating for A Christmas Story, got the rest.

no mpaa rating for A Clockwork Orange. got the rest.

no mpaa rating for Afro Samurai (mini)

this may not be for this thread, but...

is/will there be an option to save the IMDB link for each movie that's in the db? so in the future, you can just say "update database" and instead of re-scanning FILES, it rescans based on already added movies. Some movies will never get a true match, so it proves annoying when you have to go back through and re-add tons and tons of movies.

or even update database based on TITLE and not FILENAMES... that would prove to match up more files for those of us that don't rename every file

No change for me, deleted original script prior to installing new one into script folder.

Removed film info already collected from database, then rescanned, result, plot\summary are showing as unknown.

Same films tested with ANT using imdb info is shown.

Scrap above, just done it from MP config and added imdb_com as scrapper.
