I dont get any of the subtle shuddering or pixelation and hazy look to the picture. If the movie pans onto skin texture (eg jason stratons hands in the start of Transporter), Its obvious that I have a little tweaking to one of the codecs- but which one and what tweek. I have played using - Nvidea, ffdshow, MPV, If I use external player such as VLC its an improved picture but not as good as win media player. I dont want to revert to a Bill Gates program and wish to stay with MP. Thanks in advance |

Country: | Get "graphedit" and "Connect to remote graph" while playing that movie with WMP. Now configure MP to use the same codecs WMP had used and you should see the exact same quality (If you didn't zoom in or something similar). |
