Info Weirdness

When using the Info option on Films to download information from IMDB I get a strange bug, where about a quarter of the screen flashes wildly. Sometimes the info download crashes at this point. But I always need to stop and start Portal to get rid of the flashing.

Anyone else experienced this?

Hey this is still a problem using the newest SVN from today (10/3 2007).
If I navigate back in the home screen it still flashes, however going into the TV-screen (you dont have to start the TV-card) stops the flashing, and now everything is OK again until you once again try to download any IMDB data.

I can see that infinityloop stated that " if separate gui render thread is OFF then this does not occur".

BUT how do I set this thread to OFF? Where do I find this option
