Default kid safe Media Portal?

Is there a way to show videos by the age rating? (G,PG,PG7,PG13, etc...)

How about parental controls? When/if I set up a client in the kids playroom I want to be able to lock out age inappropriate material. And keep the little angels from getting into plug-ins and settings and such....

... or maybe there will be a kid friendly version of a skin.

Thanks

Chuck

The only way to do this atm, is make the primary movie folder on the pc they have access to ticked with only their films available, then up a folder level for your main movies that are password protected.

It's been asked for before, but there is no sure way of blocking content, as kids are clever little devils, ask my 2

I certainly hope these type of features will be considered for MPII... at least to give the program a much broader appeal, as this is something that is on parents minds... even if it gives them a false sense of control... they need that too, as you have said.... kids are clever little devils.

Fortunately mine have grown and have their own families... but the grandkids still like to think they are in control when they are over.... I just want to make it a bit more challenging for them.
