Default Movie Database does bot start IMDB search

[b]MediaPortal Version[0.2.3 RC03]:
[b]MediaPortal Skin[BlueTwo]:
[b]Windows Version[XP]:

What can be wrong because MP does no longer start searching IMDB data when scanning movie files. It does add movies files in database normally but does not even try to search info from internet. I have selected that IMDB database search is in use but this just doesn't work.

Ofcource I tried the same on my laptop and there is no problem. Could this be some kind of network setting problem?

If you IE or whatever browser open, does it connect then.

IE plays no role. it may be on or off. And supprisingly I may hit F3 to get info for music files and that is working. but not for movies.

Hi,
MobileSami, also change the start path for MediaPortal & MP Configuration shortcuts in start menu to MediaPortal installation path (see some errors in your log about missing dll's)

Regards
Roy

Ok. I started from beginning to make sure wrong paths are not the reason

1. Uninstall, delete mediaportal folder and run cc clearer to clear reqistries, reboot and new instal
2. Star MP
3. "Configurate" opens
4. Create movie folder on local hard drive
5. add IMDB english on database search settings
6. Scan selected movie folder
7. Scanning takes only few seconds
7.1 database browser shows that files are added but search took only 2 sec so it did not really search anything from internet
8. add music folder and update database
9. Close "Configure" and open MP
10. select movies and try to update IMDB info ---> no luck
11. enter music collection
12. select one album and hit F3 --> seeks data from Internet normally
13. Start "configure" and try to update movie data --> no luck

attached logs for this test routine

Hi,
I still see that the startup path for the shortcuts are wrong (from your log: error CS0006: Metadata file 'databases.dll' could not be found), this it's a bug in the installation program(will be fixed for final release) which you have to correct on your system...

Regards
Roy

So, i finally solved the problem.

I removed 0.2.3 RC02 installation and reinstalled 0.2.2 version. After that I reinstalled 0.2.3 RC02. Well..it is working now.
