Default 'My Movies' and Media Portal

For a couple of years I have been running Windows MCE2005 with the 'My Movies' plugin (http://www.mymovies.dk).

I've converted all my DVDs to ISOs and store them on a network share. My Movies then calls 'DaemonTools' to mount my image and play the movie automatically.

This works very well, but I don't see any similar plugins available yet for Media Server. Does anyone know of one or someone that may be working on one?

MediaPortal will automatically launch Daemon Tools to mount an ISO and then playback said ISO. You don't need a plugin to do it, just setup the path to Daemon Tools in MediaPortal's configuration. I believe it's in the General section.

correct.
and you have to add your shared folder, from the media server which contains all the video-files, in MediaPortal Configuration -> Movies

hi
also have a look at the myFilms plugin.
My Films - MediaPortal Forum
the benefit of it is, that you can organize/catalog your moviedatabase with an external tool like ANT Movie Catalog antp.be > Software > Ant Movie Catalog

ok, I don't have the My Films plugin installed. I am just using the My Videos section to watch movies I ripped as .iso's I have everything set up the way it is supposed to be (daemon tools), but it does not autoplay. If if select the movie to watch, it mounts it, but does not autoplay. I have to go over to the Play DVD button on the screen and hit that, then I have to select which DVD i would like to play (either the Physical dvd drive, or the mounted .iso), then it plays.

what am I missing.

Post your Mediaportal.log after this happens, it should shed some light on what's going on.

Make sure you uncheck "secure mode" from Daemon Tools. That used to mess up autoplay with ISO's for me.

Ok, Secure mode is not checked.

I launched media portal, went to My Videos, clicked on a video to try and watch it, it mounted, did not play, then I exited media portal.

Below is COMPLETE log from those steps.

Default I have the same issue

Just want to point out I have the same issue - brand new vanilla install of XP SP2 plus patches and MediaPortal version 0.2.3.0.

Thanks for the Deamon tool secure problem - I switched that off now!
