Playing videos FULLSCREEN, video played slow motion, system unresponsive

So here s the problem ...

if i try to play videos system becomes totally unresponsive, video playback is like slow motion, and lagas behind audio ... this only happens in full screen mode

in windowed mode everytnihg works normal ...

Why?

MediaPortal Version: latest 022
MediaPortal Skin:
Windows Version: xp SP2
CPU Type: Athlon 64 3200+
HDD: 320GB SATA2
Memory: 2x512MB Dual chanell DDR2
Motherboard: Asus m2n-e
Motherboard Chipset: Nforce 570 Ultra

problem solved ...
dont know what it was ... but after reinstalling ... it works flawless

now there is only i question of subtitles and their positioning ... where can i set that?

if anyone knows?
