In Task Manager i see both cores are used and the file plays well. Then when playing the same file in MP i can see in MP log, that CoreAVC has been added to the filters, when connecting to remote MP graph in graphedit i see the CoreAVC codec in the graph, but when looking at the TaskManager i have only one core used at +100% and the video is stuttering! Does anybody know how to fix this or what the matter is? I have tried everything but have no ideas left... :-( Thanks |

| Ok, next thing somebody should explain me: As I saw that "wmplayer classic" could play all my movies, I set it as external movie player. Now guess what: When starting a movie within MP it opens "WMP Classic" but only one CPU core is used and the movie is unwatchable!?! What the heck?!? Now I thought it has something to do with MP, so I startet MP (in windowed mode) and also WMP Classic. Now when playing the movie in WMP Classic everything is fine again! It just looks like that everything started out of MP is not SMP (Dual-Core) compatible?!? |

| Thanks. Tried 7.2 and the AMD Dual Core Optimizer, but nothing worked. Please could you try my testfile and confirm this is working in MP with CoreAVC *AND* dual core used? That's exactly the file i make my tests with. Just rename the file to .mkv please. It's a bit short, 5MB, but that's all i can upload here. In fact it should be sufficient to see the problem... |
