Videos/Movie hangs at the end

Hi:

I'm using MP 0.2.0.0 (no SVN) with MePo Grey skin.

Noticed this little issue I have with MP which started a couple of weeks back. Whenever I watch a (Divx/Xvid) movie under My Videos, upon finishing the movie, MP does not return to the menu screen automatically anymore, but rather the movie just hangs/pauses/stops. If I press stop on the remote it'll return me to the My Videos. This definitely is a problem for playlists as it won't move from one file to another.

It was working fine until a couple of weeks back. Haven't updated or installed any new stuff on MP since, and am not sure what's going on.

I've just found this thread and will try the suggestion as mentioned with the videos db (I tried switching to BlueTwo skin but didn't work). http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/me...ght=movie+hang

I'm currently not at home on my MP so will give it a try. But in the meantime if anyone has any ideas it would be great.

To get any helps on this attach mediaportal.log to your post (after you have experienced the problem)

Attached is the snippet from my Mediaportal.log - the movie file I'm trying to play is "Heroes S01E18", and it hangs/stop at the end.

Let me know if this is sufficient - if need me I can send through the entire mediaportal.log file.

Hi:

OK, I'm maanged to attend another "clean" mediaportal log.

Steps I tok to reproduct this problem as captured is this log:

- Launch Mediaportal
- Goto My Videos, select the file I want to play (Heroes S01E18) and play it
- Skipped to the end of the file, just a couple of seconds before the movie ends. Let it play until the end. It just stops. Waited approx 30 seconds, hit stop on MCE remote to return to Home screen, and quit MP.

Hi:

I'm still having this issue - I'm now running v.0.2.3 final (no SVN) and the movie still hang/stop after playing and won't return to the main menu.

Any ideas anyone?

I have the same issue: MP hangs at the end of any video file. I am able to go to next file or go back to video menu, but MP is not going back to the menu anymore. I did not changed anything in my configuration (at least I don't remember doing that...).

This is quite annoying, because the video playlist never goes to the next video, I have to do it manually.

Hi everyone:

I've since upgrade to 1.0RC2 a couple of weeks back, and it worked fine for a while - i.e. MP will return to the menu upon finishing playback of a video file. But suddenly 2 days ago it won't return to the menu anymore, and this problem is back. I've not added/changed any of the configs.

Anyone has any ideas at all what could be wrong?
