If I press "Channel UP" I can zoom the piture, then I can move with the arrows buttons. The problem is that the "Channel DOWN" button is not able to return to the picture original state. It zoom-out but it never reaches the original starting point, it stops a little bit before (picture slighlty zoomed) ... and there's no way to get out unless I quite My Pictures. Is only a problem of mine ??? Reagrds

Country: | Did you ever try zooming with the number buttons? I think pressing "1" brings you back to the "fit to screen view" so that you can continue with the right arrow key. Maschine |

| Portal Member | Ok, I confirm that "1" button do the job. But I suggest that the "zoom-out" button should have same beaviour when the maxium zoom-out is reached. thanks a lot Maschine

Country: | Hi Jack. you right! I've experienced the same problem. And there seems to be a additional problem with the zoom levels via the number keys (1-9). When I have used the 2 button to zoom in a picture and then the 1 button to come back to the original view (screen fit), I get a 100% view (which is zoomed of cause). I have this issues even with the stable release (0.2.2.0). CU Lars |

Country: | This is a bit tricky... Pressing 1 indicates "Zoom Level Normal". What does this mean? 100% or Fit to screen? If an image that doesn't fit on screen is displayed, the initial zoom level is "Fit to screen". Pressing 1 at that point doesn't do anything. Zooming in by pressing 2 gives us a 200% zoom. Pressing 1 after that gives us a 100% zoom. And finally pressing "Zoom out" after that gives us "Fit to screen"... So yes, definitely a bug, but how do we want it? Regards DalaNorth |

Country: | speaking just for myself: - initially please pop up every image fit to screen (doesn't work in my build, plain 0.2.2, maybe already fixed) - Then pressing 1 original size, only if smaller than screen, else nothing... - remaining zoom levels usual... Oh and while at it: If imagesize <= screensize (x & y): pressing prev/next maybe could goto prev/next image (moving the image clipping when there actually is no clipping doesnt make much sense does it)? doesn't work in my build, at least... just my humble self speaking... THANKS very much for your efforts ![]() Seven PS: How about defining zoomlevels as percentage of the screen-size? I'm not much into programming and of course don't know if that is possible at all. Justa suggestion. Last edited by McSeven; 2007-02-26 at 14:05. |

Country: | Hi. I guess it is a good idea to make also smaller zoom levels available via the number keys. Pressing 2 is already at 200%. Even with digital camera with a descent resolution is is not necessary to have more than 400% (in my opinion ). What do you think about this?:
This will be an easy solution. A calculation based on the screen- and picture size may be even better, but I guess the implementation is a bit more complex. The zoom-out bug with the "Channel-UP" and "Channel-Down" keys, that Jack mentioned should also get fixed ![]() Lars |
