Budget TV Card that Work?

I've searched though similar threads, please excuse if I'm asking a similar or the same question.

I've like to get a TV Card that works with Media Portal including a remote. I've seen the PVR 150 Hauppauge mentioned a few times in other threads. I'd like to stick to a budget of less than $60 if at all possible, although this could increase for the sake of compatibility. I'm aiming for a hardware based card!

I would like to hear any and all suggestions on a budget TV card that will work with Media Portal or if it's already out there direct me to the thread (I tried the FAQ it didn't work). One final thing.. I mainly buy from newegg.com...

Any recommendations on which TV cards are good with media portal? The last card I got was terrible, it was detected but wouldn't work although others with the same chip set did? I really don't want another repeat.
