Hi there,

after updating my Mediaportal 0.2.3 Final with the latest SVN my Display (Alphacool 240x128) wont work with ExternalDisplay. So i read that there is this new thing called CybrDisplay. So i installed this one and copied my externaldisplay.xml and renamed it to the CybrDisplay File. But i dont get the same results as i had with the Externaldisplay Plugin. I dont see any Graphics. Some Lines that should be centered are now on the right side of the Display.

I tried to read in this thread but it's hard to find the Information i need to correct this problem, because it's to big.

Can anyone help??

Regards

Dirk

EXCELLENT!!!!!.... looks like everything is working it should!!!!!

Now... I just have to figure out how to detach the device from the system input message queue....

Tide or GlobalDonkey:

Do either of you have an MCE remote??? The HIS devices should support them, but so far I have actually not received any data from the test program for an MCE device... I would like to make sure that the MCE remote works with the test app....

Great news cybrmage.... thanks for all this work. It will be fantastic to finally get rid of iMON Manager.

I don't have one..... me1 back on post #280 indicated they had one.

Hi Dirk,

Do you try to modify manually your display configuration with the "configuration editor" of the plugin ?

Hello Dirk23!

I am using the Alphacool 200x64 display (the smaller one), but i have problem. The display backlight remains off. In fact it seems like cybrdisplay switches backlight off instead of on.
Does your display have this problem? Which driver are you using? The LCDHype compatible or a different one?

Stef

P.S.: I already asked CybrMage for support but at the moment he is knee-deep in the imon related problems so any kind of help would be useful.

I edit the cybrdisplay.xml by adding code to it. That worked VERY WELL with the ExternalDisplay Plugin

@stantzos

I use the LCDHype Driver (thats what i get in the Dropdown List of installed Displays). I dont have problems with the backlight. I add my Config as JPG.

Regards

Dirk

No sorry I do not have an MCE remote. I have the iMon Pad and a Hauppauge 45 button remote.
