oops
sorry about my last post about the double mce-remote-signal;...it seems the problem was me ;-)

I've got an Imon remotesensor, but also de mce-dongle. Both receive the signal en process it. So I yanked de mce-dongle and the problem is gone... new problem arises: half the buttons aren't working now with the MCE but thats not an plug inissue i guess

i'll still will keep following this thread.I learn al ot this way. Respect to Cybrmage

Hi, I tried your plugin today and have som real problems after that. I have an Antec Fusion V2 case with builtin iMON VFD. I have installed all Antec drivers and the VFD is working. But when I installed the CybrDisplay plugin and start the MP configuration program clicked plugin it crasch with the following error:
"Failed to assembly 'log4net, Version=1.2.9.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b32731d11ce58905'.
Note that the configuration program must be executed from/reside in the Mediaportal folder, the execution will now end." Then the configprogram crasched. I get a little scared and tried to uninstall it and it worked but after that I cant start config program at all. I reinstall the plugin again and could start the configprogram but with the same error.

What should I do?? Whats wrong?

Ups, forgot, Im running RC1.

Installed latest MPI and enabled remote PAD handling. Seems nothing happens when I press keys on the remote.
Logs attached.

BTW, this is my first try with remote and CyberPlugin, let me know if I'm missing something...(and yes I have closed IMON manager )

Hi Simone,

I don't think this ever worked correctly. At least it didn't on my system, and cybrmage is still working on getting a proper imon remote driver into the IR Server suite with Aaron. cybrmage could confirm.

I got the same message a few days ago when I used the installer version. I didn't find a solution so I reinstalled MediaPortal and then installed another version of the CybrDisplay just by copy/pasting the dll into the plugins folder. Must be something wrong with the installer?

Default U Rock!

U totally rock... i just built my HTPC after a while of putting it off, was so excited and ran into so many problems it was funny. .. first one was my Antec Fusion V2 case came equipped with a dead power supply, anyways they tried to blame it on me when I returned it but eventually I got a replacement, THAN the VFD wouldnt work, then when I got that to work I couldnt use my remote so this plugin is so awesome!
So finally everything works but quick question and maybe I missed something but i have to have VFD or iMon for this to work and how come I dont get my weather updates on the VFC anymore. . I know, asking to much when I should just be happy it finally works but hey. . . why not push it further I guess.

Cheers and thanks again, great plugin

My System

Default Previewing Graphical Text changes

I was so happy to see the contrast settings now work for the iMON LCDs!

I've been playing with the graphical text and I really like that the text fills the entire LCD because it makes it easier to see from the entertainment unit from across the living room (versus the tiny 2-line display in regular text mode).

I have one suggestion for the "Test Display" functionality. It would be great if you could test your font, font size, and other settings right from the configuration window. As it is now, you have to start MediaPortal to see how things look on the LCD (at least in graphical text mode). If there was a spot on the config window to type in test messages that would display using the config window's current settings, that would be fantastic!

Also, can you comment on why the text doesn't seem to be using the top 4 or 5 pixels on the iMON LCD when using graphical text mode and why there is less information in graphical text mode than regular "text" mode?

Thank you SO much for this plug-in. It really is fantastic!
