Default display doesn't change from epg, only selecting tv window?

hi all I've got a problem with my imon in my antec and this, well mega display driver for it. I'm really pleased that it works spot on but I've found one problem which is starting to annoy and I can't resolve it without some help. My imon display gets stuck displaying the last channel information when I change channel from the tv guide in media portal rc1. The only way I get the imon display to refresh is by going back to the tv home and then selecting the tv picture from the right hand side.

Have I done something wrong or is there an easy fix for this?

Many thanks in advance Jon.

When using the external display plugin all works well but when I try Cybrdisplay I get no change to the display. Am I missing something obvious or is this not supported?

Many thanks in advance!!

Apologies for not attaching the logs as I have no immediate access to the system. If required will attach as soon as I can.

I think I may have a similar problem - I have an irTrans display in my Zalman HD160 case; using the 'CybrDisplayPlugin_02_19_2008' works well (mostly - the TV Show named in the display stays the same until 'info' is pressed to update it), but using the 'CybrDisplayPlugin_05_08_2008' (tried it hoping the aforementioned TV Show display issue had been 'fixed') and I get nothing on the display, just stays on date/time default - no 'MediaPortal', no media info, nothing.

Trav.

today i got my thermaltake dh101 case und the external status plugin works fine, except that i cannot adjust brightness & contrast. It's nearly impossible to read anything on the display. If i turn on liveview (and mp is off) contrast & brightness are fine. Changing the values in the mp config doesn't do anything

Any advice ?

I have the following strange problem with a Thermaltake DH101 LCD (2) display (imon firmware v. 0x3801)

The problem is that the display works correctly but backlight is set too high, and I'm not able to read the display. It seems all components of the display are on.

Is there a way to tune the backlight? I've tried to put brightness to off but no effect, I've also played with contrast and brightness... Everything works fine with imon software displaying system infos, for instance...

If logs are needed I can collect them...

firmware: v. 0x3801 - LCD OEM HID
imon software: v6.20.0830 (Thermaltake)
CybrDisplay last version: 20/04

Thanks

PS: Just read the above message from JoeSmith, seems to be the same problem...

Try this:

I have the same case:
Firmare: 0x3801
Imon: 6.20.0830
Lastest version af Cybrdisplay

This version works fine. I've choosen SoundGraph iMON USB VFD/LCD Plugin V05_08_2008, port USB
Brightness is 69
Contrast is 75
And the display is pretty clear.. Try this, should work.. Click test display, and OK. Btw. try to install the lastest SVN also.

I will try optimize it a bit when I have more time..

i downgraded the drivers to 6.20.0830 and it is working know. I'm using 50-50 and now the display looks very nice.
Is there a way to change the clock when you exit MP ?
Mine says AM/PM hh:mm and since we do not use am/pm in germany i would like to change it ...

Thanks
Joe

Mhhh.

Sounds exactly like the issue I have.
Where do I find a link to the older version? I would like to test it.
If I try LCD Hype directly my display works pretty good...
