Hi, i would like to ask you for help. I cant get my touchscreen working with mediportal. Firstly, the touchscreen is working correctly with the imon software (or how is it called), but i wish getting it work together with MP (best way seems this plugin!).

I have iMON firmware 0x3412 and iMON Manager 7.20.0502.

I am able to enable CybrDisplay plugin in Window Plugins and i can choose "Soundgraph iMON...". I tried nearly all possibilites in advanced setup but for heaven sake i see only background on my touchscreen. I mean that nothing happens when i use this plugin. This "occures" (better to say: nothing happens) in MP or after clicking on the "Test Display" button in Configuration.

i got the thermaltake dh101 and my imon lcd display works find now, but when i have a songname on the display which is longer then the display it doesnt scroll the text. so i cant see the whole songname. is there anyway to make it scroll?

i tried your sw and i could not get it to work on my OrigenAE s14v (irtrans display), the 'external display' plugin that is bundled with MP works as it should(with irtrans driver), but when i try your plugin and uses same setting i get no response on my display, is this a known problem?

the latest version doesn't seem to work with irTrans displays - don't know why. Anyone?
An older version works (mostly) with my irTrans display - see link below

Jeditrav: You are right that one do work, though only benefit i find is the ability to adjust the displays contrast.
I also notice the advanced button has no function.

I bought a new HTPC Case but it is manufactured in 2005, so the Imon VFD display is about that age.
IMON Firmware shows: 0x26
IMON Manager 7.40.0806 (Automatic update this evening)

I am trying for days now to get the display to work ok.
The plug-in works with every version of Imon I tried but the display is very slow reponding, it has about 4 seconds delay.
I don't have these problem with the Imon software, everything works ok.
Is there a way to "speed up" the display.

Hi Cybermage

You are not the only one to use the MatrixGX display i am trying to get it to work but have run into some problems

1. problem i cant figure out where to find the MatrixGx support files you are discribing and if i still need them

2. i have installed the driver_core from Matrix orbital and this program starts LCDinfo does this have to run or what since it seems to run some sort of demo program on the display

3. do i have to move some dll from drivercore to mediaportal and where do i have to put them

4. have installed the cybrdisplay plugin and enabled it but when i hit the test display under config it crases mediaportal

Here is my config i am running Mediaportal 1.0 RC2 with server client setup on diferent PC and the display is on the client
