Country: | Hi, I'm running MP under Vista x64 and have managed to finally get the plugin to work with my iMon LCD. However, in order to do so I have had to copy the SG_VFD.dll file into the main MediaPortal folder or the LCD does not display. I wonder, you say that the DLL is searched for, but it doesn't appear to be working in my case therefore could you be hardcoding the "Program Files" folder in the plugin? If so, do you realise that under x64 the folder for MP is called "Program Files (x86)"? If not, perhaps it's because I am using the latest beta, v7, of iMon as it works best with Vista x64. @CybrMage: I'd like to add my thanks to you for this plugin and applaud your efforts. |

| Hi, CybrMage, a plain restart of the IMON software doesn't work in my case. I still need to change frontview to "always" and then back to "never", now it works fine. Thanks for working so hard on this plugin. |

Country: | Great work. Works fine, only when MP starts, the contrast fall. I've tried to do some contrast and brightness tuning with the config menu of the plugin but without any result. Any hint? (Lcdhype - Irtrans) |

| Portal Member | Hi CybrMage, first a big thank you for your good work. I have recently bought a LC16MR case with SG VFD and iMon pad. I'm in the same situation as fetredlwl, that meens I also need to change frontview to "always" and then back to "never" to have working the remote together with MediaPortal. Could you please add this to your display plugin too. Thanks in advance

The LCDHype wrapper is more difficult to debug, since the LCDHype DLL does most of the work and doesn't return any debugging or status information... I did look over the code and think I may have found a problem. Please try the new version and let me know if it makes a difference. I've made four significant changes/additions to the driver in the last week to try to resolve this issue... And I've receive absolutely no feedback on what the changes did or did not accomplish. So.. without any detailed feedback, I'm not going to make any further attempts to resolve that issue... (as these changes can, and sometimes do, adversly affect the OEM displays that do not have this issue). Last edited by cybrmage; 2008-03-09 at 19:19. Reason: Automerged Doublepost | |
