I don't know if you're asking me .... but here's my answer:

E X T E R N A L D I S P L A Y - Plugin can be found in Configuration / Process Plugins. You don't have to install it, it comes with MP. Enable it und choose your display type.

If scaleo display is not listed there, install the latest SVN of MP.

I am using this .mpi on my htpc without any problem
I am running with mp 0.2.3 RC without any SVN

Hi,
i have try your mpi and MP ist starting without problems.
And the Plugin is working i thing, but ....

My Display have only one row.
It works good with RC1 and SVN i thing 3 weeks ago and earlier:
I start MP and the Display show "EPC", go to MYTV and see for exapmle "CH01 BLUBLUB" ... the CH01 Problem i know.
When i turn TV off i see again "EPC".
When i close MP my display show me the Time when i close MP, its never change more for exaple "12:05:59".

Now its work so:
I start MP and see "EPC" in the Display ... so long so good.
After i go to MYTV, i see the time for example "12:05:59" no the Channelinfo

After this its never change more, just when i start MP again. Then i see "EPC".

Its very bummer for me. At the moment i have disable the display and its always Black

I know that its not so easy for our developers to work on MP, becouse its costs time and no money.
But its will be greate when someone can work on this plugin or add it in the main "External Displays" Plugin.

This plug-in is great!

I am experiencing a bug however. When I go to my videos and select a video, my vfd says "Media Center / Unknown". If I press the back button on my remote, it then scrolls the file name. If I go back to full screen mode it changes back to unknown.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Using a VL Systems MCE Display that came in an nMedia case.

In shuttle SG33G5M VFD display works, but only shows where are you in the menu. It will be possible to customize it with C.all ????, how can we contribute to get this great plugin running with shuttle SG33G5M VFD display?

That is what I experience also, it only displays when you are in a menu, not in the video player, etc.

Skandy, let me know if you get anywhere with this.

same problem here, only this problem also occur in Windows Media Center. if i understand it right the output for the vfd consist of 2 lines, 1 for the Menu where you are in, and the other the selection you are on, multimedia playing, etc.

only the Shuttle SG33G5M have only 1 line. and only shows the menu you are in. so why don't even MCE 2005 work right if this is a MCE compatible VFD??
