A new version of the driver is available... See the first post in this thread.

Important note: This driver's design has changed significantly. It is no longer included in the "ExternalDisplay" framework and further updates will only be in the seperate plugin. If you have used the previous driver, you must remove it before enabling the new plugin.

The plugin is still based on the ExternalDisplay plugin by JoeDalton, but the ExternalDisplay framework is incorporated into a seperate DLL (named TouchScreenDisplay.dll). This allows the driver to be updated without risk of breaking the mediaportal installation or interfering with (or breaking) other process plugins.

CybrMage

What version of MediaPortal do you have installed? Are you using an SVN build? I looks like the DLL does not match your installed version...
Yes, I use the latest SVN build.

Also looking at the instruction, you said not to extend the desktop into the 2nd monitor, I'm not sure how to do that since disabling extended desktop also disable the 2nd monitor (unless that's how it's supposed to be for the plugin to work).

I got it to work now with the 0.2.3 verson (non SVN) using plug in release 12/9/07 version.

Thanks for your hard work, now, for the 1st time, the touchscreen becomes useful.

Have installed this, but i see a few strange-things happend now... (see attached logfiles)
Everytime i turn on "My TV" within a second the touchscreen is failing... crash, got an red "x" wheres the scrolltext is supposed to be...

If i switch to "My Music" or similar the touchscreen is stable, and it works much better than the previous version. and is far more responsive...

Hi,

Thanks for the new version, this begin to look really nice (i like the transparent function)

Have documentet the problem i experienced in the previous (and this) version a bit further...

attached to this message there is 2 screendump and one logfile...

is there some posibility to have a small directory listing? that would do navigation much more easier

The touch-screen feels even better than the last release? Have you done something with that?

this is great man!!! my respect!!! and big thx!!!

but one little thing...
it appears a little window after MP start on the primary display over the fullscreen MP.
I think this is the Menue wrapper window, can this always be minimized ?

thanks in advance

You'll have to explain this idea in more detail... I have no idea what you are asking for...
