In the meantime, you could reconfigure your system so that the TV is the primary screen, the Touchscreen is the secondary screen and your work monitor is the tertiary screen...

this seems much better, so far i have changed from movied to tv and switched channels... the previous version would def. have crashed at this stage...

So running this for about 30 minutes, the initial problem is solved...

Try the plugin anyway... It will work... I stated in the instructions to use 800x600 or 1024x768 as they are the modes that most touchscreens support... but there is nothing in the code that actually restricts it to those resolutions. Let me know if it has any anomolies.

This version is stable, and the bugs i mentioned before are gone... The touchscreen has been stable now for about 13 hours with use and testing... I doesent see any problems at all

Can you please tell about your plans with this great plugin?

You can add Zalman HD160XT Plus - with ATI HD2600XT with iMON to "tested on" section it works really well...

i try this plugin with 800x600. is it right, that i can only see on the secondary display a white background with textinformation from mediaportal?

Plan????? There is no plan... I created the plugin because there was a lull in the SoundGraph LCD thread and I was waiting for my Moncaso 932B to be delivered...

The plugin hasn't generated the interest I had expected (there were LOTS of people complaining that touchscreens were practicaly useless, and only four people have commented on the plugin) and It does what I need it to do... so development will probably be limited to fixing any bugs that I find.

It should display the textbox and cursor control icons, and after a perion of inactivity it will change to displaying the time and a clock icon in the upper right-hand corner. When playing music it will display an Equalizer display and media control buttons and a music icon, etc...

As I said before... The plugin DOES support 640x480... but I don't have a touchscreen that supports 640X480, so there may be anomolies in the plugins operation... unless I get feedback on what it is or is not doing, I can't fix it.

It may use some CPU power... you can't have a plugin that doesn't use CPU power... but the plugin runs at a lower priority than the main MediaPortal thread(s). If MediaPortal needs extra CPU the plugin will yield...

Hi cybrmage,

sorry for the late response to the plugin.
But my HTPC is in productive use...
this means i can not often try new alpha plugins, because my Wife do not tollerant brocken TV.
I will try the new version at the weekend.
