Yes... If you are using ASIO, the music player can not provide FFT data. No FFT data = no equalizer. It does work with S/PDIF though (but this may be dependant on the audio card)...

Hi,

really good work. Didn't expect to see something like that within years.

I can confirm that this setup works with an OrigenAE X15e HTPC.

Greetings
Honey

its very difficult to control mediaportal with this plugin, nothing for beginners. perhaps in the future gives a solution to "clone" mediaportal on both screens with different solutions.

It's even harder to "control" MediaPortal when it's running fullscreen on the 7" LCD.

Besides... It's designed as a primarily as a STATUS DISPLAY plugin... The control aspect gives you basic control of MediaPortal when your PRIMARY DISPLAY (Large screen monitor/TV/Projector or whatever) is turned off.

You could also try to figure out some way to force the two screens to "clone" with something like UltraMon/Multimon/reschanger or something similar.... Oh... sorry... you wanted simply...

You can always use one of the MANY other drivers for an LCD touchscreen... Oh.... wait... There aren't any others!!! Even though people have been asking for something like this for over two years!!

Maybe you would be better able to use the plugin if you asked questions in this thread (where questions can be answered, and enhancements made, by the creator of the plugin (that would be me)) rather than in a German language forum that was originally another user asking for help getting a touchscreen working... (I don't speak German, and do not try to follow threads started there)

Perhaps. Are you volunteering to create such a plugin?

I guess my work here is done, and I can move on to some other project...

i hope you understund me not wrong, the most plugins in mp are awesome, also yours. but unfortunately nothing for me. i ve try ultramon, but it dont work.

now i use the clone-mode of my driver with 1280x720 on both screens, but on the small display is it difficult to read small text with a other resolution as 640x480, angry. but better as nothing.

Im a beginner with this plugin, its not difficult to controll MP.. Its easy... it could been easier, and there has been suggestions about that... (even my girlfriends 8 year old son manage to use this plugin without problems...)

There is a issue... This plugin has been been public avail. for about 2 weeks... It's still in alpha version.

Alpha for me is; software under development, that has not every function implemented... Usually really unstable.. In some cases your lucky if it works.. Open Source for me; some really nice people making software for free on their sparetime...

In my opinion you have 3 problems, its either incompatible hardware, user failure or a mix of both....

If it doesent work for you... why not come with some improvement suggestions in a nice manner? cybrmage has never been difficult when i have asked him about anything...
