Updated iMON (Soundgraph) LCD Driver

theres not much life in this thread anymore, huh? ..

just got rid from this annoying slow display update. I uninstalled frontview 4.0, the IR Server Suite, girder, the Port i/O Driver and rebooted. With all these apps I have previously tried to get the display and remote working, without success. But directly after this uninstall action, the display update worked fine and fast in mediaportal!

Now I have a working solution using the silverstone ML02mx with an integrated iMon LCD, iMon Pad as remote and last but not least mediaportal as control software. So in every case, many to cybrmage for this great plugin!

But there are still open points for me:
------------------------------------------------
- The iMON LCD driver does not come up after standby. The backlight turns on, but the display stays empty.
=> Current Workaround: Configured MediaPortal to restart after standby. This is ok , but could be better

- Still the Mouse/Keyboard-Button from the iMon Remote is not working. Mouse Movement is not so easy and quick than it could be with the keyboard. Has anybody a hint for me? Someting I need to configure? Or what things/infos do I need to provide, for a fix?

seems to be like that ... although cybrmage advises in his thread to have everythink concerning the iMON discussed in this forum here ...

I'm having trouble with my iMon oem vfd display for my Antec fusion. The problem is that when i enable the graphic EQ it still displays the title of the song and flashes the EQ for like 0.5 sec every 10sec or something like that. Other then that everything is working just fine.

I *think* I have everything set up right but I get nothing when I try the Test button in the plug-in config. I can't find anything in the logs that says something is wrong.

Any ideas? Configuration log attached.

Works at my Imon device...
1) But how do I config it to show the time as 23:10 instead of PM 11:10??? (It is showing 23:10 in "Show proporty browser")
As far as I can see its called #time? But how do I change it?

2) Btw. does the speaker thing work? It always shows to speakers? But when playing a movie it doesn't change.. Imon LCD display.. If it does work, is it because I you SPDIF output?

3) The "Turn display off feature" doesn't work when starting MP configuration and just pressing OK, and closing it again...
It does work if you pres "Test display" i Cybrpluign(think it closes itself)
I couldn't post a log because it wasn't updated when using configuration...

4) Do you have some sort of a helpfile showing what can be changed and such things? Meaning what's the features like #time is called?

hello this is my problem

i have downloaded the file in the first page (i have looked around this infinite thread for a newer version, but if exists, i wan not able to find it)

i have followed the procedure reported in it, then ,reading some pages on this thread, i have read that i don't have to overwrite .dll file. SO i have restored them (one is named sg_vfd.dll and the other one is sg_vfdv5.dll).

i have also overwitten my "processplugin.dll" 0.2.2.9993 with the one (older, version 0.2.2.9991) that i have found in the zip file.

then i have tried to configure this plugin, but after 2 or 3 hours of insucess, i have noticed that I HAVE TWO VERSION of external dispaly plugin !

one report the following display
soundgraph imon integreted usb vfd/lcd driver v1.0
soundgraph imon integreted usb vfd driver v1.0

the other version of plugin looks like the one described into .zip installation guide.
this version report the following display
soundgraph imon usb driver v1.0
soundgraph imonlcd driver v1.0
soundgraph imonlcdg driver v1.0


WELL it is just a little bit confused, don't you think ?

i have tried all possible combination:
if i follow the guide, it is not possible to open "advanced" option. if i click OK, and close and reopen mediaportal configuration, plugin has been disabled.
renaming sg_vfd and / or coying mine into mediaportal folder doesn't solve the problem.

if i use the plugin version that looks like more recent, i can enter into "advanced" menu, but as soon as i click "Ok" an error reports that the .xml file is in use by another application.
if i delete manually this file, sometimes this error dosn't occur, BUT IF A START AGAIN MEDIAPORTAL CONFIGURATION, external display plug has been disabled.


SO PLEASE help me
which is the right procedure to install this plugin ?

I too would like to know how to use the keyboard movement from the imon pad.
If anybody has any idea how to get this to work, I would very much appreciate any hint.
