Country: | Hi folks Maybe somebody got this working, so can you please give exact instructions for dummy user how to do it. This is actually VlSys Mplay Blaster VFD if it helps. I've searched from the net and this forum but no luck so far. If this is not yet supported this may help (some sources included): http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.....lcdproc/11843 Cheers, /m |

Country: | I have the same HTPC case and I also can't get it to work with MP. I tried the L.I.S plugin, nothing happens. Tried the MCE plugin and MP won't boot. Would be really cool if this would work just like the L.I.S they shouldn't be much different from each other ![]() |

| If the Zalman and L.I.S. displays are very much alike you can try the following: Try to find out the USB device ID (in hardware manager under USB devices and look for a HID device) and then check out the LIS driver code. Replace the device ID that is used in there by your own. This already worked for a number of other displays... I'm sorry but I can't give you exact instructions on how to find our device ID as I don't have access to a "real" PC at the moment... Joe |

Country: | Hello, i'm intersesting by this topic. I have the same VFD and it doesn't work with external display. I used plugin mcedisplay, it worked with bugs : the display information of music doesn't disappear when i stop the track. But it doesn't work with mp 0.0.2.3. RC3. I don't understand what you say JoeDalton. what it is device ID? How check out lis driver? Where replace the device ID? Thanks. |

Country: | I own both the L.I.S.2 and the Zalman HD135. What I know from the L.I.S2 is that it works perfectly with MP. Also the only driver that is required for install is an USB driver, that can be found on the VLsystem website. Besides the USB driver it is requierd to install some software from VLsystem to control the display. This is for both displays the same, the only difference between them is: - The Zalman HD135 has an infrared receiver. - The L.I.S.2 uses the software called Multi Media Control Center; The software for the Zalman case is called M-Play home center. The display version that is placed in the Zalman case is the: MR300 or the M·Play 202, 202 Plus, I'm not sure. The MR300 is the only FDV on the official page that is placed as an OEM product, so I think it is the MR300 The only driver I could find was the USB to COM driver, which on both displays is from FTI. For now I'm not sure what to change, or that I'm on the correct path to make this VDF to work. In the mean time I have bought a Silverstone LCD and I'm gonna try to place that in the HD135. |
