Default Compro MCE Remote

Hello, Im trying to get MP to work with the Compro MCE remote included with my T500F, the IR Receiver connects to the back of the tuner card via a small plug (2.5mm?). has any one been able to get this remote to work with MP? if so how?

Thanks
Timmo

I have a Compro K100 remote on WIn XP Pro, I think its similar to the one you are using. I did manage to get the basic sutff working - Arrow keys, OK, start and stop etc. I did this by enabling General HID in the remote configuration.

Havent managed to get anything advanced working though yet.

Yeh i also managed to get some of the functions on the remote to work by installing the compro software which includes the mapping software for the remote, works ok i guess but i decided to upgrade to the logitech Dinovo Mini K/B and is much better.

Cheers

Hi all,

I had compro remote and it works with mediaportal, you can manual map al the buttons.
And not only to mediaportal , but also for other programs.

"Compro2AW" (Compro 2 Active Window). Thats the name of the program..

Then you can use all buttons like you want them in MP

Grtz,
Koen

Does it also work after a standby/resume operation?

yes, because its a program that keeps running in your taskmanager,
so when you resume, your remote will work on the window thats active at that moment.

Srry for bad english
