Default Gigabyte remote control

Hello,

I have Gigabyte GC-PTV-TAF DVB-T Hybrid card and remote control http://www.giga-byte.com.tw/Products...ProductID=1287.

I don't have/need any driver for remote control, and in device manager it appears like HID. Every button on it works in Power Cinema (original software what I got with TV card), but in MP doesn't. OK, I was thinking that's because it's not MCE remote.
Few days ago, I installed Vista and tried my remote control. I pushed Blue Start button, and what a surprise! MC started!!!!! Every button works fine! Maybe it's because newest driver in Vista, I though. Fast installed MP, and you guess some button doesn't work again.
Only if I enable HID in MP my remote works but not every button. How is it possible that MC in Vista recognize remote, even it's not MCE, and without additional driver? And on same Vista, MP cannot works with it?

Any suggestion?

Best regards,
Zeljko

There are quite a few MCE styled remotes that work with MCE and not MP.
When a new one is discovered, you need to post the Device ID as it shows up in the hardware manager. Then a dev (usually mPod) is able to add the remote to MP so that it looks for messages from that remote as well.

So far I think he's batting at 100% so should be worth the effort ;-)

How should I contact mPod? Actually where do I post Device ID? Where to read ID?
I have USB keyboard, mouse, and this remote control.

Here you can see what I have in device manager:
