That page, however, refers to "\Program Files\Irtrans\remotes", and I don't have that directory.
I guess I don't use IRTrans. I only have standard MediaPortal 0.2.3 + svn installed.
Without any configuration, some buttons on my X10 remote work (like up and down), other not (like zapping).
If in the MP setup under "Remote" I check "Use X10 remote", zapping works, but then I have the commands-get-executed-twice issue.

Same problem for me with the MCE remote and IRtrans, switches between windowed and full screen. In Vista itself however it behaves like right click -> properties when selected an item

simply edit the apps.cfg from irtrans/remote folder and delete the mediacenter related block:

Does deleting that section from IRTrans actually work for this fix, or is that to make sure that MCE doesn't get started as well?

I the Fullscreen/windowed problem as well (OrigenAE H6 case) will try the above tonight...

I think i got a fix for this issue.

I had the same issue with my IRtrans remote on my Zalman HD160 case.
I've removed everything in the apps.cfg file besides the [APP]MEDIACENTER section.
In this section i've removed the line starting with [APPNAME] and the line starting with EHOME in the [COMMANDS] section.

This in combination with mptray4irtrans.exe works fine for me! I can start MP with the green button and after it is stated a can switch back to the Home screen!

On the line of "EHOME [FNC]EHOME" you have to replace the last ehome to "switch home". I have installed a origenae S16V with IRTrans receiver and MCE remote and did this and it worked. If you map the standard MCE remote you find the same command.

EHOME [FNC]switch home
