Question Hauppage WinTV PVR-150 MCE kit IR issue

Hello,
I just bought and installed Hauppage WinTV PVR-150 MCE KIT
I use win XP 2nd eddition with MP.
i installed the card drivers with no problems.
i tried to Install the Remote control and windows didn't recognized the driver from the CD.

i went throught all the forum notes searching for solution and found the MCE_remote_driver.rar
i untar it and direct the "found new HW" to this directory,
But without any succsess.

could you please advice how can i find the right drivers?

Best Regards,
Yaniv

I had the same problem on my XP pro SP2.

Tv card installed fine.
Then the driver for the eHome remote. It is on the cd (irbus), but windows won't accept it.

Searched the internet and took a long time to find a solution.
I had to install a certain patch for MCE.
Unfortunately i can't find the link anymore.

The only problem i have now is that only the arrow and OK buttons work.

Installed the MCE replacement plugin but now it 'doubleclicks'.

I had the same problem with double clicks but to help yanivk go to this page
PHP Code:
http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/howto_blasting_and_using_mce_replacement_plugin-t22488.html
Download the MCE replacement plugin yanivk and then install the exe file. This will install by default into Programs folder, Media Portal

To stop the double clicks you must update the driver for the infra red remote under USB in Device Manager.

The help file that comes with MCE replacement plugin tells you how to do it.

That got rid of the double click and made the mce remote work like it does in MCE.
