| thanks for moving this to correct forum!! Got the latest version of MP. I got the HIP plug in and this did the trick by the looks of it. The only thing is the STOP and PAUSE buttons do not work and these are by faaaar the most used buttons.. I looked at the mapping thing on HIP and MP Config and all looks OK. Any ideas what to check and how to fix? THANKS |

Country: | I'm having the same problem with my mce remote control (from HP). stop and pause does'nt work. I think that if I use the keyboard instead it works, but I don't want a keyboard in my bed :-) So, anyone? |

Country: | Did you get the rollup? How To: MCE Remote Keyboard in XP Home I did all of those steps (which for me was just dload the rollup as I have XP pro) and then selected MCE remote in the config (make sure you deselect any previous remotes) and it works great. I have not installed the HIP plugin, it works natively if you use the rollup, or at least for me. |
