Question Problem getting MediaPortal running with a HP remote on my notebook

Hi guys!

I just got this HP remote control:

The (USB?-) remote reciever is missing, I don't even know how it looks.
But I do have an integrated IR reciever on the front of my Acer Aspire 5670 notebook, so I want to use this one instead.
The problem is, that I am totally new to this and don't have a clue what I have to do. I just want to control the MediaPortal with the remote to have a comfortable solution for watching movies on my notebook.

The reciever is called "SMSC IrCC - Fast Infrared Port" and is installed properly.
But I can't see it in the options of MediaPortal. Or do I need some additional software/driver to get this running?

I am thankful for every piece of help...
