Remote Control (SL-6399) Configuration

Hi,

I'm migrating from vista media center to Media Portal and I'm having a problem with my Remote Control.
I have a Speed Link SL-6399 MCE Remote control -> LINK
and i can't make it to work correctly. some keys are not working. I know that it is supposed to configure it.
I've tryed the replacement driver, IR Server and now i'm tring EventGhost. I don't know how to configure any of the plugins, can anyone help me please? I saw a equal post HERE but it's in German.

I used this remote last year with Girder and a MCE plugin... Everything was working well

i will try, but can you explain me what is girder? Searched for it.... Sorry but I'm real new to media portal and media centers.

Moved to input\remotes forum.

Take a look at irserversuite, may do what you want, just read the manual and appears to be plug and play (may use ehome driver, check in device manager\usb)

Try enable use mce remote in MP config.

Well as far as I can translate..
1. Install Eventghost
2. Import configurationfile MyConfig.xml into Eventghost (click open and select the MyConfig.xml file)
(Edit the startprogram: MediaPortal.exe after import, cause the MP path seems to be in Spanish

After that you are already able to launch MP with the green button )

3. Place General HID.xml into folder driveletter:\*\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\InputDeviceMappings\custom

My only Q is how to enable the General HID settings in MP

This link got me alot further. Read it through and download the plugin. Some keys were already workin. It just needs some tuning I guess.

I can't make it to work...
Anyone who has used this remote and had a proper configuration?

I've found the problem... Don't know why!
But the keys in red on this pic -> LINK Don't work or are even recognized by media portal. In eventghost aren't mapped or logged and in ir server i can't learn or give the commands.

On Vista Media center work well with the desired functions.

Now I don't really know what to do.

Girder (version 3.2.9 is the last free version)
MCE IR Plugin

I cannot remember if I used any remote configuration in MP, but I think you should'nt use any
