Default Set-up Zalman HD160XT Remote

I have a Zalman case HD160XT whiwh is supplied with a mplay remote from VLSytem (http://www.vlsys.co.kr/English/product.php) compatible with MCE.

The remote is delivered with Zini application software for configured it, but without success. How I can do it.

I've also tried to enable it as MCE remote but It does'nt work.

Please help.

Thanks.

Do a search on IRTrans (and enable it in MP's config) on the forums and/or the wiki, that should bring you all necessary information.

Thanks mpod, but the IR is not an IRTrans device.

The HD160XT remote control is based on a FTDI component and the driver converts usb <-> serial.

Giorgio.

Oh, sorry. I thought all the devices that come with Zalman cases were IRtrans. Bad luck then... Maybe someone else has some solution? MP doesn't support your remote out of the box, but maybe with some adjustments & 3rd party apps like Girder? Or you can "train" the app that came with your remote to send appropriate key strokes to MP... Just an idea.
