Exclamation Using existing digital remote with MP?

I really want a remote to control MP, but I'm not sure where to start. Is there any way of using my Freeview remote with MP?

My DVB-T remote does work on menu navigation slightly, curser keys work and enter key, but rest don't.

Please help. thanks ^_^
