Indeed, this is an old bug. However, I have just taken the first step to doing something about it. In the next SVN, there will be an option to skip files already in database.

Please try it out and report any bugs with this new functionality to me.

The option can be found in the configuration application only, under Movies->Movie Database->Scan

I'll check it out later today when I get the chance. Great stuff, thank you very much!

Downloaded and installed the latest SVN. IMDM info all worked perfectly. In fact a lot of the movies that weren't found in the imdb prior, were found this time. All fields were updated correctly and completely!

Excellent work! Thanks for the quick update. By the way, when will the next stable build be out? I am having problems with the Netflix plugin. I can't run the configuration, crashes. Not a huge deal, IMDB working correctly is more important!

Hi there,

I was just wondering if there had been any progress on this? My MP is a family system and is currently very stable , so I am a bit wary at installing an SVN.

Any ideas when the IMDB issue will be addressed in a release build?

Thanks

Nat

Obviously, the IMDB fix will be included in the next release build. Unfortunately, I do not have a date for the next release version, but it is coming soon... (which as we all know could mean anything in this business)

Whoa! Super fast response

Thanks for the info. As it happens abotu 90% of my files are IMDB'd anyway so it's no biggie. I am just happy to have a stable system that my entire family can use. Good to know that a new build is imminent though

Note to self, must make donation to the project
